A recent five star Visit Scotland grading received by Perthshire based self-catering accommodation providers Alexander Residence brought more than the usual celebratory toasts. Expectant mother Pauline Alexander became so excited at the news of her North Inch properties being awarded the top accolade that she went into labour 4 days early!
“I was ecstatic at the news of our 5 stars,” Pauline gushed. “I was jumping up and down and clapping, hugging my husband and my other children. Obviously not the thing for a 9-month pregnant lady to be doing as my waters broke and labour started!”
Baby Charlie Alexander arrived twelve hours later and mother and baby were both safe and well.
Alexander Residence increased its Perthshire only property portfolio during 2008 and has been awaiting the Visit Scotland Grading since completing work on its Barossa Street Rose Apartment earlier this year. The prestigious 5 stars given allow Alexander Residence to offer Perth City Centre’s only self catering accommodation graded at this top level.
The two well appointed apartments overlookPerth’s beautiful North Inch and River Tay and are just a 5 minute walk from the city centre. Pauline and her team offer an exceptional range of customer services for visitors to the area and it was these little extras alongside the warm yet stylish interior that impressed the grading officer.
Pauline remains delighted with her Visit Scotland award but is adamant that her second little 5 star arrival is by far the better of the two.
